Inverse sine function:
For a function to have an inverse it needs to be in a range where any horizontal
crosses its curve only
one time. In the case of the sine function, which is a periodic function, an inverse
function can occur between the sine’s minimum and maximum which occurs at -900
and 900 which equals2 2 q- £ £π π interval on the sine wave.
An inverse sine wave has its x=f(y) which reflects the curve of y=f(x)The result is
that the points on the curve have their variable switched and the reflection takes
place along a y=x straight line ant 450 from the origin. The first diagrams show an
unrestricted wave and the next diagrams show the limits of x=f(y) and y=f(x)
Finally the diagram shows the results of a reflected curve along y=x .
